We all remember when Ariana Grande said ‘Yuh’ to Dalton Gomez’s marriage proposal in 2020. As Arianators, we were besides ourselves for the happy couple.

And while Ari and Dalton like to keep things private – Dalton’s Insta isn’t even public – we have seen glimpses of the married couple out and about, as well as on Ari’s Insta.
We’re so obsessed with this sweet relationship that we’ve taken a look back at Ari and Dalton’s love story – from our first glimpse of the Break Free singer’s new beau, up until now (aka: Honeymoon Avenue). Take a look.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez’s relationship timeline
Ariana gave her first Instagram shoutout to Dalton after featuring him in her Stuck With U video back in May last year.
Then, during one of the weather report parody videos Ariana and Lady Gaga filmed for the release of their iconic duet Rain On Me, her now-hubby was spotted helping to create the fake rain over Grande.
A source revealed to Entertainment Tonight a little about what the new couple’s relationship was like during COVID isolation. Apparently, Ariana was “in a really good place,” with Dalton.
“Ariana has had some hesitation being so public about her relationship with Dalton as she’s seen how that has worn on her past relationships,” explained the source.
Ariana continued to keep her relationship with Dalton pretty quiet, sharing in an Instagram story in April last year that it was a conscious decision.
“Sharing special, personal life things that make u happy on the internet can be truly traumatic,” the singer explained. “I know I’ve taken a step back from doing so to protect my loved ones and myself.”
Quarantine treated the couple well, with the pair approaching it as a “great opportunity for them to spend quality time together”. Dalton also attended a peaceful #BlackLivesMatter protest with Ariana, because what’s more romantic than trying to better your community and stop injustice? The couple also took a cute vacation together earlier in the year.
Then, in December 2020, Ariana confirmed that isolation only made the heart grow fonder.
The 28-year-old shared the news of her engagement with an Instagram dump of her and Dalton that included some pics of a very hefty looking ring.
Cut to five months later and the couple wed in a sweet at-home ceremony.
At the time, Ariana shared a series of photos to her Insta. She wore a simple white gown and veil with an impressive white heel, while Dalton opted for a black suit and tie.
The caption was simply: “5.15.21 🤍.”
Nowadays, the couple are still happier than ever (as Billie Eilish would say), with Ariana recently revealing to Allure that it was actually Dalton who came up with the concept for her iconic Positions music video.
“We were in the car driving home and Dalton just turned to me and was like, ‘What if you were the president?’” she recalled, before recreating her reaction to his suggestion, gasping and clutching her heart. “You’re perfect,” she said.
Post-marriage, the couple is still keeping a tight-lid on their relationship. However, on the rare occasion, the No Tears Left To Cry singer shares sweet glimpses into her personal life.
Three days after Valentine’s Day in 2022, the musician posted a loved-up snap of her and Dalton to Insta, featuring the pair all dressed up for date night.
So it looks like she really is on Honeymoon Avenue, and we couldn’t be happier for her.
