Cardi B has turned herself into police, after getting into a heated fight in a strip club.
According to TMZ, Cardi took herself to the police station after reports claim that she is being sued by bartender sisters Jade and Baddie Gi. It’s alleged that Cardi and her entourage threw bottles and chairs at the girls. Why? Because they are the girls Cardi believes to have had a relationship with her husband Offset, as Page Six reports.
A source close to Cardi told TMZ that while the attack wasn’t premeditated, it was “spontaneous” after someone threw a drink.
Cardi is now facing two misdemeanour charges for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, and may receive a summons for a court appearance, according to Page Six. However, because she turned herself in she won’t be arrested.
“Cardi is heading down to the precinct to claim her name and innocence,” a source told Page Six. “She is in the company of her counsel and detectives, and is being interviewed,” the NYPD public-information officer told Us Weekly.
This makes it the second time in weeks that Cardi has been involved in a physical argument. At the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party during New York Fashion Week, she and Nicki Minaj got into an altercation which resulted in a huge bump on Cardi’s head.
