“They’re not woke, they’re scared.”

The #MeToo movement has completely taken over Hollywood. We see it in most aspects of celebrities’ lives now, especially awards shows that are taken over by the political movement.

But one person who believes it’s all BS is Cardi B.

While chatting to Cosmopolitan, Cardi has called out the men who are supposedly in full support of the movement.

Cardi believes that although many men have come out and spoken about it, they’re not genuine. “These producers and directors, they’re not woke, they’re scared.”

Cardi pointed out how in the past, women in Hip Hop have come out and spoken about sexism and harassment in the industry, and were ignored.

Twitter had a lot to say about her comments.

“I wanted to get mad at this, but she’s right,” one user tweeted

“I was always woke about gender issues and always stood up for women’s right, but when #Metoo started I had to completely reevaluate the way I interacted with women. I wasn’t scared per say, I was grateful. I needed a wakeup call.”
