It’s nearly been a year since Camila Cabello pulled a #Zayn and left her band, Fifth Harmony.
It left the girls, and the fandom in a pretty wild state, however now new reports are coming out that Camila left a whole year before that.
What?
A ‘leaked contract’ has surfaced online and been shared on Twitter, which contains the title, “Notice of Withdrawal From the Fifth Harmony Partnership”, dated on September 18, 2015.
Camila supposedly writes in the document, “I hereby expressly notify you of my voluntary withdrawal, effective immediately, from The Fifth Harmony Partnership (the ‘Partnership’) identified and described in the agreement.”
Fans are pretty negatively responding to the new information, calling Camila out for her ‘betrayal’ and are dragging her online for it.
They have even created the hashtag #CamilaCabelloIsOverParty.
However Camila fans have come to her defence, pointing out that there is a very important paragraph in the contract that people are ignoring.
“Be advised that I fully intend to remain in the group, but as an individual and not as a member of the partnership.”
It continues: “My manager, Roger Gold, would be pleased to discuss the logistics of my continuing relationship with the group.”
Therefore fans believe this was Camila’s way of trying to make things work with the band while she pursued a solo career.
It’s important to take into account that the contract could also be totally fake.
Some fans noticed that they spelled Lauren’s name wrong in the documents, and that Camila’s signature included an ‘xx’ with seems pretty fake for an official legal document.
The most important thing is that both Camila and Fifth Harmony are absolutely killing it right now with their careers, and that’s what fans should be focusing on.
