It’s no secret that there has always been chemistry between Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, but all the tea is being spilled now that they’re actually dating!

Like we all know that Shawn had a thing for Camila since their collaboration on “I Know What You Did Last Summer” in 2015, but now the Latino princess is admitting that the feelings went both ways!
“During ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer,’ I really bonded with him as more than a friend. I think he did, too, but we were both really young, and he was experiencing the pressures of his career. I don’t think we knew what to do with those feelings. It was this awkward thing where we both liked each other, but we weren’t together,” she revealed to Rolling Stone.
“It was just weird. An energy was there from the beginning, but after that song, we didn’t spend as much time together. Our paths just didn’t cross in that way romantically until we started hanging out again and writing. For me, it just brought it back.”
So while Shawn has been yearning for Camila all these years and she has been off on her own adventures with Fifth Harmony and Matthew Hussey, there’s always been a secret little somethin’ somethin’ behind the scenes.
We guess her song “Liar” makes total sense now.
Shawn recently revealed similar feelings while chatting to a fan during a Q&A session.
“If I told you the whole story of Camila it would take a long time,” he began.
He continued, “I would say that you have to fight for someone you really love, and if you really truly love them, you’ll get them. It just takes time. But make sure you really love them, you just gotta make sure.”
Shook. They really are the real deal.
In fact, a body language expert recently weighed in on all their public PDA sessions, most specifically those basketball making out photos, confirming what we already knew.
Blanca Cobb revealed: “They’re both looking in the same direction, and if you notice where Shawn’s hand is, it’s on the right side of her body. His hands are curving into her,” Blanca explains.
“This kiss doesn’t look like anything more than lips touching, but you wouldn’t expect this type of lingering kiss at a ball game with closed eyes, and that means that they’re very comfortable with each other,” Blanca explains.
