It’s no secret that the Kardashians haven’t gotten along with Caitlyn Jenner for some time now. Following the release of the star’s memoir The Secrets of My Life, the Kar-Jenner fam publicly cut her off due to her “insane” allegations (as Kendall Jenner put it).
Months later, Caitlyn has spoken out about her estranged family, blasting them for ditching her and claiming that they poisoned her career.
At an event at Cambridge Union on Monday night, Jenner spoke to a crowd of students and spilled the following tasty tea:
“It’s been a little bit tough over the last couple of years on the Kardashian side. To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore,” she said.
“Kim I haven’t talked to in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt.”
She goes on to acknowledge that her memoir was what drove a wedge between her and her fam with whom she starred on Keeping Up With The Kardashians from the beginning.
“I tried to be honest in my book. Very fair and very nice. Unfortunately they didn’t take it that way,” she said.
“In the book I express some opinions and got shot down. It was not about the Kardashians. They were only mentioned on 20 pages. They made it more about them on television. The book was about my life. That’s caused a lot of the separation between us.”
Earlier this year during an episode of KUWTK, Kris Jenner claimed that most of her ex-husband’s claims are totally false.
“Everything she says is all made up,” Kris says. “Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a b**ch and an a**hole?”
“I’ve never been so angry and disappointed in somebody in my whole life,” she adds. “I’m done. Done!”
Well, Caitlyn can’t say she wasn’t warned!
