Coming out as transgender is never easy, but when you’re somebody as high-profile as Caitlyn Jenner, it’s even more difficult.
Caitlyn dealt with her fair share of jokes and criticism during her transition, and while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, she personally called him out for making such public, transphobic jokes about her.
Yikes.
She started by admitting how hard it was with all the paparazzi following her and the Kardashians at the time, but continued to call Jimmy out too.
“In fact, guys like you making some jokes,” she said, pointedly. Jimmy, put on the spot, offered a weak excuse.
“We didn’t know what was happening,” adding an apology.
“It’s quite alright,” Caitlyn said, adding, “Now he’s gonna apologise!”
