BTS, K-pop boy band have literally taken the world by storm, especially when they won their first Billboard Music Award in the category that Justin Bieber usually dominates in.

Their name “BTS” stands for “Bangtan Sonyeodan” which in English, translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts” which is freaking cool if you ask us.
BUT, they’ve decided to change their name!!!
Their new name keeps the acronym of BTS, but it will now stand for “Beyond The Scene” in an attempt to appeal to more English-speaking audiences.
Although, the band will keep their original name when in their hometown, especially in Korea, as most of their fan base originates from South Korea.
