Brooklyn Beckham is passionate about pursuing photography, only just releasing his first book “What I See”.
Although friends and family have been super supportive of his new venture, one fan stuck a preview online with a hateful review, which got pretty out of hand.
“Huge fan of Brooklyn Beckham’s terrible photographs and even worse captions,” the person wrote, creating a barrage of online hate towards Brooklyn, even accusing him of riding off his parents fame and being “talentless.”
Ouch.
It got so bad, that publisher Penguin Random House has defended the publication in a statement to The Independent.
“What I See is a book for teenagers, by a teenager, which gives Brooklyn’s fans broader insight into his world seen through his unique and creative perspective,” said Francesca Dow, the managing director of the publishing house.
“Teenagers lives are filled with the visual image and we know Brooklyn’s photos resonate with his huge young following, who avidly follow his life through his photography. We are proud to bring these images together in a book for a young generation for the first time.”
Thankfully some people came to Brooklyn’s defence, reminding everyone that he is young and this is his first book… he is still learning and should be encouraged, not told he is crap.
DW Brooklyn, we’ll still be buying a copy!
