Bindi Irwin rushed to marry her fiance Chandler Powell RIGHT before the Australian government put a restriction on weddings last week, and we can understand why! The young daughter of Steve Irwin is infatuated with her husband. In a newly released wedding video, she can’t stop gushing about ‘incredible’ Chandler.

The clip was shared on Discovery.com as well as the Animal Planet Instagram, Bindi can’t stop herself!
“Oh my goodness, can you believe it, you’re my husband, we’re married,” Bindi says as the clip begins.
“Today has been enormous. Our wedding planning journey has been quite epic,” she continued.
In the video, Bindi also defends herself and her husband for going ahead with their wedding, after copping a huge amount of backlash.
“We feel for everybody around the world during this current world crisis,” Bindi said. “These are such challenging times we’re facing right now, but we have to band together and remember that love always wins.”
Speaking about the restrictions they put in place, she said, “We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding.
“This was a very difficult decision but important to keep everyone safe,” Bindi said on Instagram just after the ceremony, sharing a gorgeous photo kissing Chandler at the altar.
“We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however, it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos. Right now we’re encouraging the world to hold onto hope and love, which will carry us forward during this profound time in history.”
Bindi and her mother Terri lit a candle in honour of Bindi’s late father, Steve Irwin, during the wedding.
As their wedding went down last week, fans assumed that they had ushered large crowds into the venue despite being advised against it.
“This is absolutely ridiculous and selfish,” one person wrote.
“Very uncool. Putting her own wedding day ahead of many people’s lives. F**k right off,” another added.
“Nice social distancing under those umbrellas?! Irresponsible and taking the p*ss doing it now, to avoid a rule. No best wishes for these newlyweds. Should be ashamed of yourselves,” one wrote.
Yikes!
But as Bindi put it, love wins!
