Big Bang Theory actor John Galecki‘s home has unfortunately burned down following a massive fire.
The 45-year-old, who plays Leonard in the hit series, home in Santa Margarita was lost in a 1,200 acre fire, which also damaged many other properties.
John addressed the incident in a statement to TMZ, “My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire, the threat of which we live with constantly, which may seem crazy to some but we do so because living in our beautiful, rural area makes it worthwhile.”
He went on to thank Emergency services for all their hard work and reached out to his local community. “We’ve done it before, and will need to do it together again, and it will make our community even closer and stronger.”
Thankfully, no-one was hurt in the fire which has now been contained.
