Of all the divas in Hollywood RN, queen Beyoncè is probz one of the most ~extra~.
So it comes as no surprise that when the “Formation” singer turned 36, she damn well wanted the most extravagant cake available.
The singer opted for a super trendy geode cake (‘cos we all know how she feels about diamonds!) from Cake Life Bake Shop in Philly that cost at least $3,500, a source told Page Six.
The bakery’s geode cakes “start at $3,500 and go up in price depending on detail, complexity, and size,” they said.
“Obviously we were looking at [inspiration] and things like that, but making the cake is a two-day process,” co-owner of Cake Life Bake Shop, Lily Fischer, told the publication.
The bakers paid homage to the legendary singer by topping the cake with a halo just like Bey wore to The Grammys this year during her performance of “Love Drought” and “Sandcastles“, just after she announced that she was pregnant with her twin bbs.
