Ariel Winter is a huge fan of showing off her gorgeous bod’ on Instagram, and good for her. She’s stunning.
However, she is constantly having to defend herself against people who body and slut shame her over her appearance.
In her new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ariel has had to address the issue again.
“If you want to wear a short skirt and show your body like I do, it doesn’t mean you’re a wh*re. And it doesn’t mean you’re not one,” she said.
“People call me stupid because I post photos of my butt when the real thing is, I love my butt. I love butts! Why stifle yourself because other people can’t handle it?”
Earlier this month she went on a Twitter rant about the exact asme issue, after photos of her wearing tiny shorts surfaced online. “I literally do not try and show my ass when I wear shorts… My ass just eats them up and then I don’t notice… awkward af,” she said. But fans didn’t believe her.
She is also hoping that her most famous character, Alex Dunphy on Modern Family starts wearing more ~risque~ outfits, because… “I do wish we could get out of the stigma that girls who are smart have to dress down and not care about appearance. But I think [Alex is] starting to.”
We guess we’ll have to wait and see if Alex starts rocking the short shorts!
