“Laguardia high school pride. It’s really crazy, Timmy and I played on the same basketball team, we had the same drama teacher Mr.Shifman, we had the same science teacher Mr.Singh, and then in the same year, both of us are nominated for a f$&king Golden Globe!!! Living the dream sitting courtside at the Knicks game together. Life is crazy. Congrats to you Timmy ❤️(also @eneskanter11 gave me his shoes post win over the celtics)” Ansel wrote on a recent Instagram photo.

But now they’re arguing who was more popular in high school, while talking to MTV News.

“Timothée,” says Ansel, “Timothée was so popular.”

But Timothée definitely doesn’t agree with that.

“Ansel had a calendar! Are you kidding me?,” he says, talking about a project that Anel’s sister Sophie, shot which features 12 gorj portraits of Ansel that actually still exists

When Ansel caught wind of Timothée talking about the calendar, he later tweeted.

“Hold up! I did not make the calendar myself! The calendar and shoot was organized by student council! To raise money! I’d pay 💰 to see a Timmy calendar tho 😏

Yeah, so would we Ansel.

It’s fair to say that Ansel definitely rose to fame before Timothée did, with him even admitting that all the lead roles in plays went to Ansel.

“I auditioned for Guys and Dolls, Hairspray — he was the lead! I didn’t get into them. That’s why all those rap videos are online. I was doing the talent show instead of the musicals.”

BLESS THEM BOTH.
