Unfortunately for a University lecturer at Sydney University, she had to stop her class halfway after witnessing a student giving another student a handjob under the desk.

The best part? It was all recorded.

During a Laws1000 lecture yesterday, a lecturer stopped her class to address the awkward situation.

Laughing to herself, the teacher began: “Oh my God. Give me a minute guys, I just want to bleach my eyes and brain,” she starts. “Um, I love y’all but give me one sec. We’re going to have a talk now.”

“I know that precedent is a very sexy topic and I love when my audiences are excited and animated and engaged, dear Lord, but there’s a limit to that,” she continued.

“If you’d like to have special love time with your partner, there are some perfectly sanitised and malleable bean bags over at MUSE, and I’m sure that there’s an empty cinema around here trying to make the movie Cats work that’s empty. Go for your life.”

“But, this is the second time I’m saying this in my career, no below-the-belt touching in my lecture theatre, please,” the lecturer continued to audible gasps and giggles by other students. “I’m not going to name and shame, but just to clarify this is a mentoring unit so I will give some sort of mentorship here. The strategic placement of the hoodie on the lap only draws the eye more.”

How awkward!

“I said I was glad they kept the university open today, but now I don’t know,” the lecturer said before the video cut off.

The video has been shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter repeatedly, even finding its way to a student Facebook page.

The University has since released a statement.

“The University is aware of the alleged incident and the lecturer took the right steps to manage the incident at that time,” a spokesperson said to Junkee. “We remind students of our Student Code of Conduct in relation to their behaviour.”

Well, they definitely weren’t practicing social distancing!
