According to the eye witness, Cody was acting well suss when he realised people were staring at international superstar Miley Cyrus, hanging out in a grocery store with a new man.
According to the onlooker, Cody: "Noticed people seeing them so they tried to rush out of there."
What adds even more weight to this story is that Miley and Cody have been snapped going on coffee dates over the last few days, with a few images being uploaded to fan's social media accounts.
Under normal circumstances, we would say a coffee hang is strictly a "just friends" move, but friends don't usually kiss each other...do they?
Miley and Cody have also known each other for a LONG time, with Cody revealing in a 2015 interview that he and Hannah Montana have been mates since tween-hood.
"Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff—trying to escape your childhood," Cody said.
"She's super open-minded and I'm working on becoming more like that."
Miley only just broke up with girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, with a source telling PEOPLE magazine that it was the Wrecking Ball singer who ended things.
"Miley split from Liam to focus on herself. Her relationship with Kaitlynn was a happy surprise.
