Theories were blowing up all over the place, but most pointed the blame at Tyler. We were left with the scene of Tyler packing up a very large amount of guns... and not too long after that Alex Standall was rushed to hospital in critical condition for a gunshot wound to the head.
Although in the episode, they did say it was self-inflicted, many thought that because Tyler tore down a photo of Alex at the end, that he was his first target.
WELL, Miles Heizer, the completely talented actor who plays Alex, has come out and totally debunked this rumour altogether, saying that it was 100% self inflicted.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Miles also revealed that, "It was interesting to see similarities between Alex and Hannah, because there are a lot of warning signs throughout the season."
Whether or not Alex would be part of season 2 after such an awful tragedy, Miles revealed that, "That's another subject that's very rarely shown onscreen and is probably a lot more common than people think it is. People attempting to take their lives and it not happening, I'm sure that will bring a crazy set of issues. It would be interesting to go into that."
We're hoping that means that Alex survives the wound, and we continue to watch his story.
Show runner Brian Yorkey has just revealed a tonne of spoilers for the second season which you can read all about here.
13 Reasons Why will come to Netflix in 2018.
