"There is almost a two or three month gap from when they film the finale to when you're [publicly] together," Matty J said.
"The weird thing with Matt and Chelsie is, straight after the finale [aired], he went away, he went to the UK. Maybe Matt didn't realise how important that time is? Because you can finally get to be together and have that relationship out in public."
Another big sign was the fact that the former couple didn't attend the Melbourne Cup together on November 5.
"We were at the Melbourne Cup and Laura [Byrne] and I were really excited to see Matt and Chelsie," Matty said. "We were heading to the Channel 10 marquee and we spoke to one of the publicists and we said, 'Hey, are Matt and Chelsie here?' And they said, 'Actually they're not coming anymore.' We didn't know why they weren't there, but there was a thought that maybe they weren't together."
Wild.
During this time, Chelsie has been making it very clear that whatever went wrong between her and Matt, is on him, hinting that the astrophysicist cheated.
It all started when Chelsie commented on her Bachelor co-star Jessica Brody's Instagram photo where she's holding a rose.
"Me ➡️vs.➡️ Me when he tells me I’m the only girl he’s talking to🌹" read the caption.
Chelsie commented on the photo with a VERY pointed statement: "triggeredddddd'.
Adding fuel to the fire, Rachel Arahill from her season replied: "@chelsiemcleod Bahaha haahahha when u can finally say triggred as well. ytg"
Chelsie responded: "@rachaelarahill triggered is an understatement tbf."
These shady comments aren't the first that both Rachael and Chelsie have made following the split.
The first came from Rachael, who basically confirmed that Matt did the dumping.
After the break up was announced, a fan commented: "omg no, I wanna know why 😭."
"So does Chelsie," replied Rachael.
