Well, the law student revealed all on Wednesday night's episode of MAFS, when the couples were shown their audition tapes in front of their partners.
When Stacey was asked by the casting agents, "What about your ideal guy? What kind of husband do you want?" Stacey basically described her ex-boyfriend, former Rebels' bikie boss, Shane Michael Smith.
"Like, tattoos, big – I wanna feel protected," she said in the clip.
The agent then noticed that Stacey was dripping in very expensive accessories. "You’ve got a Rolex and a Givenchy bag, I’m gonna be really honest. How do you afford that?"
"You might have to ask my ex," Stacey laughed.
Earlier this month, Stacey revealed to The Daily Mail a very different response.
Stacey said that she had inherited a huge amount of money from her late father and brother, after their tragic deaths.
The publication claimed Stacey "put the money into a family trust, which she later used to start several business ventures in South Australia."
"I had my own financial stability [before MAFS] with more than Michael could have provided," she explained.
Later in the episode, during the final dinner party, Stacey answered a question from the honesty box. It asked whether or not Stacey would be so in love with Michael if he weren't so financially secure.
While Stacey admitted to liking the finer things in life, she insisted she was in love with Michael for Michael, and that she did not need him or his money before entering the experiment.
Now, however, after the couple have had such a nasty split, Stacey is selling the Louis Vuitton handbag Michael bought for her, online.
