During the episode, Cathy continuously asked Josh whether or not there was anything he wanted to get off his chest before they met up with his family. Insisting there wasn't the pair went on to have lunch at Josh's family home.
That was when Josh decided to publicise to his family his issues with Cathy, including the fact that he thinks she isn't interested in anything he has to say.
The episode did post Josh in a pretty bad light, and he wasn't happy about it after it aired.
"What a terrible edit, f*** it I'm calling mum," he wrote. He continued: "F*** me dead on a Devon sandwich left out the entitled lunch and I had the old hugs and kisses back, mafs f***ed me in the backside, should've went on survivor.
"I'll never do a tv show again."
"Actress from hell," Mandy commented on the post.
Later, a MAFS viewer commented: "we now know they break up for good".
Mandy responded: "She was a paid actress hunny, employed by producers."
Another family member then weighed in on the post, writing: "We did well to keep our gobs shut until now! Cathy is playing a victim! The tears, definitely trying to get on Home and Away. She's playing her role well, sort of."
Cathy expressed how she felt during the episode.
"My main issue is that if Josh has any issues, that he’ll raise them in a public space," she said to the camera. "You've got nothing to worry about," Josh reassured her.
"I have never felt so alone in this experiment. This is bad. Thrown under the bus again. Straight away," Cathy said while crying after the lunch with Josh's family went so downhill.
Unfortunately, we are pretty certain that this means the end of Cathy and Josh.
