Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, last season's "villain" said she spiralled out of control after her Dan dumped her on live television, admitting she began "drinking one to two bottles of wine a day" and turned to Xanax to help her cope.
"I needed to numb [the pain because] I had never been in a darker place in my life... I was heartbroken and mentally beaten down,' she explained.
"He broke my heart live on television when prior to that I'd cook him dinner and were talking about how he couldn't wait until all of this was over and we could start living our lives like a normal couple and how much he loved me."
"He did a good job of acting like he loved me. I felt so stupid and sad for a long time."
To make matters even more difficult for the 28-year-old, Dan stabbed her in the back by dating her brother Rhyce Power's ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Sierra. In spite of this, Rhyce has since denied he was dating the former Love Island Australia star, pretending in an Instagram video that he'd never heard of her.
"This question has come up quite a lot," the tradie began. "Vanessa who? I don't watch Love Island so I'm not too sure who they're talking about. Who is Vanessa?"
