Maisie Williams is getting ready to farewell Game of Thrones after eight seasons. The 21-year-old has distanced herself from her famous character Arya Stark with by embracing a new hair colour - inspired by the hottest shade of the year: coral.
With filming of the show now wrapped, many of the stars are celebrating with significant style changes. Emilia Clarke debuted a pixie cut in September and Kit Harington chopped off those glorious Jon Snow curls.
Showing off her bold transformation at haute couture fashion week in Paris, we've got a feeling Maisie won't be the only it-girl to try coral this season.
Pantone declared coral the official colour of 2019 - describing the trendy hue as “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”
Aveda Global Artistic Colour Director, Ian Michael Black describes Living Coral as “bright, yet quietly gentle colour, which translates beautifully to hair.”
“It’s a lovely copper with a pink undertone that is warm, inviting and light-hearted,” the international hair colourist adds.
Ready to take the plunge into coral? “A tip to see if a colour will suit you is to pull your hair back in a ponytail and hold something of your desired colour just above your eyebrows,” Michael shares.
