Married At First Sight alum Dean Wells has been caught out begging restaurants for free meals in exchange for him plugging them on Instagram in an embarrassing leaked email shared by restaurant critic John Lethlean.
Taking to social media, The Australian's restaurant critic shared the alleged email exchange.
"I hope this finds you well. I just wanted to touch base regarding our client, Married At First Sight star Dean Wells, who is looking to wine and dine in the city of Melbourne on the 18th of August," the email read.
"I thought this could be a good opportunity for them to attend your restaurant, as Dean has over 80K followers across his Instagram. In return for looking after the two on this special occasion, we can offer Social Media posts and mentions."
"Please let me know if this is of interest."
Lethlean then captioned his post, "Grasping At First Sight, a new reality series. Please consider #CouscousForComment."
Dean, a 40-year-old creative director from Manly, rose to fame following his controversial appearance on Married At First Sight.
Paired with Tracey Jewel, the couple had a very rocky time on Channel Nine's social experiment, and their relationship came tumbling down following Dean's bombshell affair with Davina Rankin.
It has been previously reported that Dean's professional career was struggling as a result of his negative portrayal on the show.
