Davina Rankin, Instagram blogger and Married At First Sight star has finally made her return to the social media site to share her side of the story after her dramatic exit from the show.
Posting to her 320,000 Instagram followers, the 26-year-old let fans know what has been happening in her life since the show went to air.
"I just wanted to take the time to say a HUGE thank you for the love and support I’ve received these last few weeks 🙏🏼❤️🙌🏼 ," she began. "To my friends, family, followers and some who have never even met me.. your messages, emails, txts .. it ALL means the world.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏼 I know I’ve been unusually quiet here on social media 🤳🏽🤷🏽♀️... So here’s a little insight on what’s been happening in my life lately."
Rankin's message is written alongside a group snap of herself and some dear friends.
The star went on to make a reference to her youtube channel, which reveals she has not become a vlogger.
In the 12-minute video, we see Rankin tear up as she reveals she's been receiving backlash from viewers of MAFS for the past month, particularly after she had an affair with fellow co-star Dean Wells.
"Copping a really large amount of hate is something I am really not used to, and to be honest it really shook me. That's why I've been distant and silent," she said into the camera.
In between tears, the bikini model says she has been going through a 'tough' and 'traumatic' time in her life, however, she goes on to wants to thank her 'fans, friends, followers and clients' for their support as she 'owes' this to them.
