In a recent interview, the actress shared that the cast has a giant group chat that's been lit up all throughout the pandemic. "[Our] group chat is always lit up," the 25-year-old, who plays Cheryl Blossom, shared. "It's never not lit."
The Riverdale cast includes Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, KJ Apa, Vanessa Morgan, and Casey Cott. When it comes to who's bringing the jokes Petsch shared that it's actually Sprouse who is the best in group chat. "Cole is the funniest in general. Always, always bringing the laughs," she revealed.
As for when that fifth season might finally arrive? Unfortunately even Petsch didn't have much concrete info to give fans.
"I think it's still up in the air," she explained. "I think until this whole pandemic settles a little bit, we can't. It’s not really a topic that I think things change on the daily right now. As you know, I mean, everything is still up in the air. So I feel, like, we're just hold[ing] on for dear life."
So are desperate Riverdale fans, who have had to watch two "Riverdale universe" series Katy Keene and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina get cancelled. Looks like we could be waiting a while to find out what'll happen Archie and the gang after the time-skip over college.
