In a new interview on The Harry Show, the former Dance Moms star revealed the mortifying moment her mum left her red-faced after she yelled out to her celeb crush Zac Efron at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.
"We were at the Teen Choice Awards for the first time and Zac Efron was up onstage and my mum screamed and said, 'Take your shirt off,'" Maddie dished. "I sunk in my chair and I was like I do not know her. It was so awkward."
But let's be honest, her cringey outburst is actually pretty understandable as Maddie explained: "She said, 'I couldn't control it. It just came out.'"
Hey, it could've been worse. At least she didn't do THIS!
Meanwhile in other Zac news, the former High School Musical star has admitted that he's now ready to settle down. When are you free, boo?
"I didn’t think much about settling down until recently," he dished to Cosmopolitan. "Now that I’m getting closer to my 30s, I’m around some great relationships and I’ve seen expert couples at work."
"I’m realising that you have to find your own happiness before you can make somebody else happy." Wait, he's not happy with himself?! HOW?!
So how's he gonna find the one? "Dating is something I'll never be able to do," he spilled to The Times. "As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I've impacted that person's life and they'll soon see it. A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think about me."
But don't even think about flirting up a storm with him on social media coz that ain't gonna work. "I try to stay off my phone as much as possible. It’s on silent and the vibrate is off all day. People sometimes hate me for it! But I’m just not a pro at DMing and all that. Forget Twitter, forget Instagram. Let's just chill and be real. Enjoy the moment."
Enjoy the moment. We can totally do that. Give us a call Zac, we're free... ALL YEAR.
