"As you'd be able to see from all of my socials, for the last several months I have been dating a guy called Maurice," she said in the video titled "My Boyfriend Dumped Me For A Reality TV Show". "I was so open with my relationship and I talk about it on my YouTube channel. We'd do posts together, we would literally jump on lives. We did break it off - but according to this guy, he's been single for the last six months".
Maurice actually told TV Week weeks ago that he'd been single for "like a year... and eight months."
Yikes.
Christie explained how Maurice lied about auditioning for the show, claiming that he was only going to be on the advertisement!
"It's just the ad," he told her, "don't worry."
"Apparently you have to apply for the Love Island position months in advance,” she added.
After her video went viral, Christie spoke exclusively to New Idea, saying that her ex-boyfriend is just on the show for fame and publicity.
"He is into anything to do with him being in front of the camera and fame," she says.
"I've come to the realisation that he is just a liar. And I'm watching this and it makes me sad and hurt because I know that the reason he is on there is for fame."
If it sounds familiar, that's because it is!
Last season of Love Island, winner Grant Crapp was exposed to have a girlfriend on the outside the entire time he was hooking up with Tayla Damir.
Grant walked away with the prize money and Tayla, but it didn't take long for his real-life to be exposed.
Maurice was the first to get a kiss on the show with Jessie, but homegirl learnt very quickly that Maurice wasn't the guy for her.
