"We're not discussing where we're at with series three but FYI Sophie [Monk] featured in a live cross from the Love Island villa at the recent 2020 Upfront (programming launch)," a spokesperson told The Daily Telegraph.
Another network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: "We will make an announcement about the next season of Love Island when we make a final decision."
Channel Nine
The show which is highly successful in the UK only pulled a measly 494,000 viewers during its premiere on October 7. Viewers had dropped to 240,000 by episode four.
The Bachelorette Australia pulled in 716,000 viewers for its season premiere, to show the comparison.
