Louis Tomlinson just released his new song, "Back To You" ft. the incredible Bebe Rexha, so he's been doing a helluva lot of interviews.
One interview that the fandom was not looking forward to, was with the publication The Sun, done by reporter Dan Wootton.
Fans have in the past boycotted the publication, and Dan, after he supposedly shared ~fake news~ and made comments about both Louis and other band members that the fans didn't approve of.
One thing that Dan promised to directly ask Louis, was about the "conspiracy theory" that is Larry Stylinson. If you're unaware of what Larry is, it's the fandom's belief that Louis and Harry Styles have been in a secret relationship. Here at Girlfriend, we are LARRY AF and would love nothing more than our two fave boys to be happy and in love.
However, when asked about it directly, Louis denied it.
"I've never actually been asked about it directly," Louis began.
"It's a funny thing. People can believe what they want to believe but I just think it comes across sometimes a little bit disrespectful to the ones that I love, [like] Eleanor.
"It's like anything. You can genuinely Google a conspiracy on iPhones, right, you're going to get a conspiracy. So I think it's one of these things that people just love to buy into but in reality, obviously, there's no truth to it. Obviously.
"It kind of happened naturally for me and Harry because a certain amount of the fans drew up this conspiracy. When it first came around I was with Eleanor, and it actually felt a little bit disrespectful to Eleanor, who is my girlfriend now.
"I’m so protective over things like that, about the people I love. So it created this atmosphere between the two of us where everyone was looking into everything we did.
"It took away the vibe you get off anyone. It made everything, I think on both fences, a little bit more unapproachable. I think it shows that it was never anything real, if I can use that word," he continued.
WOWZA. Naturally, the fans picked the entire thing apart and didn't believe a damn word of it.
Ah, our Larry hearts will never die.
