New Zealand singer Lorde, who is up for the ~coveted~ Album of the Year award, was originally stoked to perform at the ceremony, but when she insisted on singing a track from her album Melodrama, the Grammys peeps were like 'hellllll no!'
The "Homemade Dynamite" singer was only offered the option to sing as part of a Tom Petty tribute.
TMZ reports that the other four nominees (all men, mind you) were offered to perform their own tracks solo which Jay-Z declined but Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino and Kendrick Lamar were all here for.
So why wasn't Lorde given the opportunity to perform her own track just like the men were?
Not okay, Grammys. NOT okay,
