And while she may be a legend, Lorde is only human as well and has always been V. open about her skin dramz.
But if you ever feel like you wanna slide into her DMs and give her advice on curing acne then you might want to think again 'coz she doesn't want your help.
The 21-year-old just went on an Insta-rant about receiving unsolicited acne advice from every Tom, Dick and Harry.
“For real though, acne sucks,” she says in an Instagram video. “You know what also sucks? When you’ve had acne for years and years and years, done all the drugs, tried all the things, and people are still like, ‘You know what worked for me, is moisturising!”
She went on to list all the ridic advice she receives: “Make a mask out of honey, greek yogurt, and avocado!” she said. “All you need to do is buy an apricot scrub! Coconut oil, the secret is coconut oil! And the very worst one, of course, is when people think you’re just dirty. ‘Do you wash your face?’ It’s like, ‘Yes, I wash my face! I’m just genetically cursed.”
She concludes by offering some sage advice to errybody that has ever struggled with skin dramz (AKA all of us!).
“For everyone out there who’s got bad skin — and actual bad skin, not just the kind of bad skin you can just use a fancy cream for for a few days and it will get better — I feel your pain,” she said in her Instagram story. “We’ll get there; we will. I promise.”
