During the movie, Brooke's (Vanessa Hudgens) sister gives her daughter a Chrismas tree ornament of a pine cone. "Your grandma and grandpa picked this up on their trip to Aldovia," she says.
If Aldovia rings a bell, it's because it is the land in which Amber (Rose McIver) and Prince Richard (Ben Lamb) from A Christmas Prince reside.
This particular acorn is the same ornament that was shown belonging to the former king of Aldovia.
When Amber joins the family to decorate the Christmas tree, it is introduced.
If you have yet to feast your eyes on The Knight Before Christmas, it follows high school teacher Brook, who falls in love with a medieval knight named Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse). He is magically transported to modern-day after an 'old crone' sets him on a very important quest.
It's basically the only thing you need to watch this Christmas... aside maybe from the third Christmas Prince installment, A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby!
The movie will follow Amber and Richard after their massive wedding wanting to take time to themselves to prepare for the birth of their child.
However, before they can do anything they have one very important task: to renew a 600-year old truce, which means they have to host king and queen of a distant kingdom called Penglia.
If somehow they can't come up with a way to make the treaty work, Aldovia will in some real trouble... which is perfect timing for their baby!
