The actress has posted a photo on Instagram to let the world know that while she is aware of Ariana Grande's recreation of Mean Girls for her "Thank U, Next" film clip... nothing will beat the original.
There's so much to unpack here.
If you've followed Ari's social media lately, you'll see that she's enlisted her friends, and some original cast members to recreate the movie. For the iconic role of Cady Heron, originally played by Lindsay, she got her BFF Elizabeth Gillies, who stars in Dynasty.
"Also, I love #dynasty" is the best part of Lindsay's caption because she doesn't even bother to tag Elizabeth in the post.
Ariana invited the original Aaron Samules (Johnathen Bennett) and army pants & flip flop girls to the crew, so not including the main star of the movie probably p*ssed Lindsay off too.
BUT, since Lindsay started her caption off with a sneaky "Behind the scenes 🎬 ," maybe she WILL make a cameo?
