It’s that time of year again — the time when our Instagram feeds are flooded with gushing love declarations from happy couples (yuck).

While we are obviously pleased for them… and their flowers 😭 and teddy bears 😭 and chocolates 😭 … there are plenty of us who are flyin’ solo this Valentine’s Day.
And while years of societal norms have dictated that our self worth is dependant on whether or not we are in a relationship, Girlfriend knows better than to subscribe to that way of thinking… and so do you guys.
