A teenager in the States has been arrested after she posted a Snapchat that seemed to threaten a school shooting!
According to Fox 8 Cleveland, the Snap — which came from the account of a female high school student in Ohio — showed a male student posing with a BB gun and was captioned, “Did someone say mass shooting.”
After an “unnamed source” sent the worrying pic to local police on Saturday, the teens were both tracked down. The boy from the photo reportedly told officers he didn’t even know she had used his image on Snapchat. Meanwhile, the girl reportedly said the Snap was meant to be a “joke” and called it “stupid.”
She was later taken to a county juvenile detention centre on “charges of menacing” and luckily, police didn’t find any evidence of a planned attack.
