Thankfully the peeps over at SplashData have released the worst, most-repeated leaked passwords from the last year and we can learn what NOT to do.

Their new study has proven that last year’s worst-but-heavily-used password is “123456.” Seriously.

Here’s their full list of passwords to 100% avoid:

  1. 123456
  2. password
  3. 12345
  4. 12345678
  5. football
  6. qwerty
  7. 1234567890
  8. 1234567
  9. princess
  10. 1234
  11. login
  12. welcome
  13. solo
  14. abc123

  19. dragon
  20. sunshine
  21. master
  22. hottie
  23. loveme
  24. zaq1zaq1
  25. password1

While most of these passwords *might* seem silly, we’re sure you’ve used one at some point or another.

“Making minor modifications to an easily guessable password does not make it secure, and hackers will take advantage of these tendencies,” Morgan Slain, CEO of SplashData told Time.

So keep your info secure by changing it up to something more complicated peeps! Ain’t nobody got time for hackers.
