Ever taken a photo from your phone camera and you’re just ~dying~ to share it to your Snapchat Story but you hate that fugly white border that appears?
Well good news Snapchatter, your white border days are over!
Snapchat’s latest update has removed the white border, meaning you can upload pics to your Story and they will appear like a brand new photo that you’ve just taken on the app.
As with all things, the technology isn’t 3000% perf just yet. Horizontal photos get rotated when you import them into Snapchat, and there’s no way to straighten them out (yet).
A spokesperson for the popular app told The Verge that their decision to remove the border was purely for ~aesthetic~ purposes.
You won’t get away totally scot-free though as older pics will be tagged with “From Camera Roll” and “From Memories”, but that’s still better than that awful white border!
The update also gives users the option to save inside chats. If you long-press on a text chat, you’ll now see an option to copy the text as well as to save it.
Also, you’ll now be able to see your friends on the Snap Map inside a group chat.
New Snapchat, who dis?
