While the next iOS update comes with some epic new functions (yas to the control centre!), we have just been alerted to some V concerning features involving Snapchat.
The update allows users to record what appears on their screen using the “Screen Recording” feature, Mashable reports.
This means that when other iPhone users view a pic or vid you send on Snapchat, they’ll be able to record and save it.

The good news is that Snapchat will alert you to the fact that your video has been recorded, just like how it currently informs you when it’s been screenshotted, but by then it will be too late.
At least with the current Snapchat other users could only screenshot a pic from your snap, but they’ll soon be able to literally save the entire video.
Uh oh…
Never you mind though as Snapchat is already working on a way to remedy this, according to E! News.
The app giants have agreed that this will be a ~major~ invasion of privacy and therefore hope to protect users from having their vids saved by others.
COME THRU SNAPCHAT!
