Our lives low-key changed for the better when Snapchat introduced filters to help us troll our mates with ridic selfies and they’re about to roll out a new function that will allow us to filter more than just our mugs.
Mashable reports that new filters have started to drop on the app including specific activations for pets, food, and holiday destinations.
When you snap something that fits into the above categories (like your adorbs pet or a beach from your sick vacay), Snapchat will give you specific options to filter it.
The genius tech peeps have managed to integrate object recognition into the app to tailor different filters to different items.
As we stated earlier, not everyone has received the update yet so just keep testing it out until your phone is ~blessed~ with the new function.
