Excuse me?

Nutella fans are pretty intense, so we aren’t sure how they’re going to take this but they’ve changed their freaking recipe.

*sound the alarms*

Ferrero decided to make some slight changes to the beloved recipe, as Hamburg Consumer Protection Centre first noticed.

According to a Facebook post from the group, Nutella’s sugar content has increased from 55.9 percent to 56.3 percent.

Skim milk powder increased from 7.5 percent to 8.7 percent.

Its fat content decreased from 31.0 percent to 30.9 percent.

So what is the end result? A more sugary Nutella that is a little lighter in colour.

Obviously, Nutella enthusiasts weren’t too happy about this news.

Ferrero gave The Guardian a statement, explaining that “the quality… and all other aspects of Nutella remain the same.”

We will be the judge of that!
