Sure, the McNuggets are iconic, and if you’re ordering a Happy Meal (always), then it’s most likely that you’re choosing those bad boys over a cheeseburger…
… but THAT DOESN’T MEAN PEOPLE DON’T LIKE THE CHEESEBURGERS.
Unfortunately for all those burger fans, McDonald’s have decided to remove the cheeseburger option from their Happy Meal deal.
Why? It’s part of their effort to improve health standards in fast food.
Today, we are announcing our new 2022 global #HappyMeal goals. Over the next several years, we'll be focusing on nutrition criteria, simplifying ingredients, transparent nutrition information, recommended food groups and responsible marketing: https://t.co/zH5VYViyld pic.twitter.com/M4wIhDYXc3

In fact, it’s not just the cheeseburger option that they’re changing, but they’re making serving sizes smaller and changing the chocolate milk to a healthier variety.
Childhood obesity is on the rise, so it seems like it’s probably the right decision, however that doesn’t mean that people are happy with this decision… regardless of the fact that you can simply just request a cheeseburger with your Happy Meal.
