Love Island UK’s Sophie Gradon has passed away at the age of 32, her family confirms.
The reality tv star, who appeared on the hit show in 2016, died of “no suspicious circumstances”, police claim.
The former Miss Great Britain’s heartbroken boyfriend Aaron Armstrong wrote: “I will never forget that smile. I love you so much baby, you’re my world forever and always.”
A statement from the show said, “The whole ITV2 and Love Island team are profoundly saddened to hear the news about Sophie, and our deepest sympathies and thoughts go to her family and friends.”
Sophie’s cause of death remains unknown, but it’s believed the star had been battling depression for several years.
Back in September, Sophie tweeted to her fans after she hadn’t posted in a while: “Hi guys, no not dead just battling a little bit of depression. I’ll come back I promise x.”
Twitter has seen an outpouring of grief for the much-loved television personality.
