A poor mother has shared horrendous photos of her daughter’s burns after she participated in an dumb af school craze.
Jamie Prescott posted the pics on her Facebook (coz FB is literally filled with parents these days) to share photos of her daughter Ellie’s arm, which was covered in really gruesome burns.
She suffered from second-degree burns after taking part in the “deodorant challenge”.
Students have been spraying deodorant cans directly on their skin and see who can last the longest.
She shared the pics to warn other parents.
“For any parents who have children, please, please sit them down and show them these pictures,” she wrote.
“These are the damaging results of something known as ‘the deodorant challenge’ which is currently doing the rounds… and literally involves spraying deodorant onto someone else for as long as possible. It’s that simple and results in severe secondary burns.”
Her daughter may still have to get skin grafts are doing the damage, which is really hectic.
She told Somerset Live her daughter was not aware of the consequences.
“Apparently, when they asked her to put out her arm she did it but she had no idea of the consequences and hadn’t even heard of the deodorant challenge before that point,” she said.
