In perhaps the greatest Instagram Story meets Twitter thread of the year, Rosey Blair, a passenger on a US domestic flight, documented what happened when she and her partner asked a woman if she would swap seats so that they could sit together.
The young woman was more than happy to help and while she was grabbing her stuff, Rosey and her boyfriend joked that her new seat partner might end up being the love of her life.
You guessed it: that actually happened. Well, they liked each other enough to talk and touch all flight, follow each other on Instagram, and walk off the flight to get their bags together.
Grab some popcorn and settle in, it’s a wild ride.
The thread, which has been shared over 300,000 times (and definitely deserves to be read in full), ended with the plane couple leaving together with their bags.
But after the post went viral, the young man was sent it and actually replied!
“Hilarious… Knew you were taking pictures,” Euan Holden wrote, before responding that “a gentleman would never say,” when asked about what happened next.
