Demi Lovato is “stable and alert” following her overdose earlier this morning.
According to E! News, Demi is in “stable and alert and breathing” after being admitted to Cedars Sinai Medical Center earlier today.
Her rep said in a statement to Variety: “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support.
“Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
A representative for the Los Angeles Fire Department told PEOPLE they ‘transported a 25-year-old female patient to a local hospital.’
Demi has battled addiction, mental illness and an eating disorder for years. In 2011, the entertainer entered rehab, where she was also treated for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm and addiction.
Celebs including Ariana Grande and Lili Reinhart prayed for her recovery on Twitter.
