She liked one user's comment that read: “Matt ….. just admit your gay and get on with your life….”
Now, Matthew has come out and addressed it.
“I’m aware of the gay rumours and I haven’t refuted them because although i am heterosexual, frankly I don't think that being gay is an insult,” he wrote to Instagram user mafsfunny2.
“However I am hurt to hear that Lauren is using homophobia to stir up hate. It’s not a secret that there have been issues between Lauren and myself - I asked the producers to tell her to stop contacting me as she continued to text/call/PM almost nonstop once we left the show and every time I blocked her she, she changed accounts.”
See his response below to the popular MAFS Instagram account, @mafsfunny.
He continued: “She can say whatever she wants about me but i think its abhorrent that she is using gay as a slur. LGBTQ people have enough to worry about in this country without someone who is high profile using their identity to denigrate their ex partner.”
