Condor and Centineo announced the initiative via their Instagram profiles. Centineo explained, "Lana and I love each other very, very much," adding that, "We also share this weird thing that makes us want to do more than just act."
The livestream will be hosted by Centineo's own organisation, Favoured Nations. Along with he and Condor doing table reads of scenes from all three of the To All The Boys Films, they'll also be joined by Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, Paine the Poet, and activist Nupol Kiazolu. "It’s a cause that I fully and wholeheartedly believe in," Condor said. "Just seeing how motivated and inspired you’ve been and how tenacious you’ve been to make this work […] has been really awesome and inspiring," Condor said to Centineo.
The pair hope the livestream will get to at least 5,000 donations for a number of charities that have been put forward by Favoured Nations. With the promise of some new Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky updates, we reckon they'll smash it. Mark your calendars for when it airs on YouTube on June 30th.
There's no news yet on when we can expect the final film in the To All The Boys series, which was filmed back-to-back with the second one last year. But, you can RSVP for Condor and Centineo's live stream and donate at favorednations.org/idk.
