Beauty vlogger Jackie Aina has posted a scathing review of Kylie Cosmetics' latest range where she calls out the fact that little to no black beauty bloggers were sent her prods whereas white bloggers like James Charles and Laura Lee were sent the full collection.
"You went out of your way to create this beautiful bottom row of darker colours, but I didn’t see a single person on YouTube outside of Shayla… reviewing these products," says Jackie.
"I’m not on [the Kylie Cosmetics] PR list and I’m most certainly not the only black beauty guru out there, but I’m just saying – why did you go out of your way to create all those shades and you didn’t bother to send them to anybody to review? I want to see some reviews from some chocolate girls. I just wanna know where are they?"
She also pointed out that the brand rarely uses diverse models for their campaigns, as evidenced by the brand's official Instagram account.
"I went on her Instagram as recently as today and I looked at all the pictures she’s posted since this launch and the only pictures I see of anyone darker than tan was the day that the concealers were announced," she adds.
Kylie has yet to respond to the serious accusations.
