Welcome to your tape Kim Kardashian because you've allegedly copied someone's makeup ideas... again.
There is an Instagram account that dedicates its time to calling out copycats - @Diet_Prada, and their latest culprit is Kim. Her crime? Copying Pat McGrath, the makeup artist.
The product is Kim's new eyeshadow palette (the same one she's copped sh*t about copying her sister Kylie for). It's a collab with her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, and it features nine shades with one very bright royal blue shade.
The blue is named “Libra,” after the starsign. But, as @Diet_Prada points out, it is the same one Pat McGrath put in one of her palettes that was released last year. There are actually a few shades that are basically identical from the two palettes.
"Someone: "Hey Kim, where should we position the single electric blue shadow in this otherwise neutral 10-pan palette?" Kim: "Oh, wherever," the account wrote alongside the incredibly similar promo shots.
To be fair, not even Pat can trademark the colour blue, which has been a very popular eyeshadow colour since, like, always.
However, @Diet_Prada called out Kim last year, claiming that she copied brands like Commes des Garçons and Vetements.
Kim responded to that at the time, saying that she was paying homage to those artists and that all profits would be donated.
So has yet to make any comments about these recent claims.
