In a preview for this weeks season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloé Kardashian shared the heartbreaking moment she found about her fertility issues.
In a clip for the series final episode, the star was seen getting emotional as she paid a visit to the gynaecologist and found out some unsettling news during her ultrasound.
"There are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old," the doctor told the star.
"This is definitely not at all how I thought this appointment was going to go. What if I can’t get pregnant?” she asked in the clip. Fans immediately worried for the star, who has been very vocal about her desire to have her own children.
In the full episode, however, we learnt that there was more to the story.
“You may consider getting them in the freezer while they’re young,” Dr. Andy Huang told Khloé after her ultrasound, before recommending she go off her birth control pills.
After stopping birth control for some time, Khloé returned to the doctor’s office where she found out her uterus was looking "very normal."
The star was then seen jumping on the phone to her boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
“I am so relieved to know that I am able to get pregnant,” she said in her sit-down. “Now I have so many other things to think about. Do I wanna have my own baby now? I don’t know. I’m at a crossroads.”
“Tristan and I definitely talk about starting a family,” Khloé went on to tell the cameras. “He wants to have about five or six kids with me and that’s lovely. We could start at one and we could grow from there. But now knowing I’m not on birth control is scary. It’s like a really big step.”
